Keepin' the Vibe Alive

Meet the Brothers

Russ Lema
Organ, Piano, Vocals
The frontman of the band, Russ has had the privilege to have played before and with many national acts.

A recent inductee to the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame, Russ returns to the keys to front this great band of Brothers. Having that "bluesman" voice doesn't hurt when it comes to doing Southern Rock...especially when it comes to the Brothers.

Robert Blaschke
Drums, Percussion
Robert lives and breathes the drums. With a motto, "Great grooves. No bullsh*t." you know he's dead serious about the art of drumming. With the Brothers All Band, he melds Jaimo and Butch Trucks into a fantastic single performance.

Performing and teaching since 1972, Robert's played nearly every musical style and venue. In addition to the Brothers, he's proud to have co-founded MushroomSoup, was formerly with Shaka and The SoulShakers, and enjoys sharing his lifetime of experience as a drum teacher for students of all ages and skill levels.

Rick Mariotti
Rick has been the soloist in many of the area's premier Southern Rock and jam bands for a long time. An accomplished guitarist, he not only plays electric, but has great command of the acoustic finger picking style.

Rick has played before many national touring acts as well as joining forces with local powerhouses in both the Northeast and the South.

Giuseppe D'Amelio
Slide Guitar, Vocals
Guiseppe has been a student of the blues from the day he picked up a guitar! There is something about the wailing of the slide that has captivated him since he first heard Duane's blistering intro to Statesboro blues. Ever since, he has been on a journey trying to follow the greats: Duane, Derek, Warren, Elmore.

Recently returning to New England after spending the last 6 years in St. Louis playing funk and soul music and founding the traditional acoustic blues duo "Giuseppe & Rodrigo", we welcome him as the newest member of the band. Giuseppe is excited to bring his unique blend of styles to some of his favorite music.
